Training and Networking - a better model towards parity than imposing the constraints of quotas

To address the under representation of women on corporate boards in Switzerland, Club for Women Entrepreneurs acts towards training talented women entrepreneurs for the function of Board Member via workshops it organises with the help of experts in each field. It does not profess to replace the institutions that are active in this field -  on the contrary. It expects participants to have recourse to further training and to initiate themselves to the themes that are being discussed presently and to interest themselves in the suject matter of the corporations they are most qualified to join. Having completed the cycle of workshops, presently in the number of three, committed women will be invited to join Inner Sanctum, the Swiss Network for Women Board Members, which rallies women who already function on boards with candidates to a nomination. When vacancies occur on boards, members of Inner Sanctum may advance profiles of members.
